Job Description: Aviation Technician I

Overview of the Position:

Responsible for performing one area of expertise in the Materials / Logistics Team, including Shipping, Work Order Receiving, PO Receiving Inspection, and Inventory Control. All duties must align with the Repair Station Manual and Quality Control Manual. This fast-paced role requires teamwork and multitasking abilities.

Hourly Wage Range: $20 - $26

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Shipping: Packaging units per ATA 300 standards, shipping via FedEx, UPS, DHL, domestically and internationally. Monitor shipping supplies and communicate needs to purchasing.
  • Work Order Receiving: Inspect incoming orders for damage and accuracy, generate work orders in ERP system.
  • PO Receiving: Inspect incoming products, maintain documentation including certifications and tags.
  • Inventory Control: Manage parts pulling and returning, conduct cycle counts and annual inventory counts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required. Minimum 2 years' work experience or equivalent training. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.

  • Language Skills: Ability to read, interpret, write reports, and communicate effectively.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic math, compute ratios, and interpret graphs.
  • Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense, follow instructions, solve problems.
  • Physical Demands: Frequent talking/listening, sitting, handling, occasional standing, walking, reaching, lifting up to 50 lbs., moderate noise environment.
