Job summary

Seaborne Airlines is seeking a Technical Publications Manager to create, revise, and maintain technical manuals, policies, procedures and operational documentation for airline operations and regulatory compliance.

You will work with Flight Operations, Maintenance, Safety, Training to ensure accuracy and currency of publications, leveraging Adobe FrameMaker for structured and unstructured content, and ensuring FAA alignment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical writing experience, preferably in aviation or airlines.
• Proficiency with Adobe FrameMaker for structured/unstructured docs.
• Experience developing and maintaining controlled technical documentation.
• Strong knowledge of document management and version control practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, revise, and maintain technical manuals and operational documents.
• Use Adobe FrameMaker to create, format, edit, publish, and manage technical documentation.
• Translate complex technical information into clear, concise content.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to verify information.
• Ensure publications comply with FAA regulations and company standards.
• Manage revision cycles and maintain histories.
• Prepare documents for electronic distribution and controlled systems.
• Perform technical reviews, proofreading, and quality checks.
