Job summary

Textron in Piney Flats, TN is seeking an experienced Structures Mechanic to join the Aircraft Services Team. You will disassemble, inspect, repair and fabricate aircraft structures in accordance with data and customer specifications.

The role requires 2 years’ structures experience, a HS diploma or GED, and FAA A&P certification is preferred. You must provide your own tools and work with detailed manuals and blueprints in a collaborative, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience as an aircraft mechanic with structures focus.
• HS diploma or GED.
• FAA A&P certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and reassemble aircraft, perform inspections and service bulletins.
• Carry out major and minor repairs and alterations to aircraft structure (sheet metal, composites).
• Fabricate mounting brackets, measure, drill and modify structures without damage.
• Document all work accurately and timely.
• Work overtime as required.
