Job summary

TeamGlobal is seeking Structures Mechanics in San Antonio, Texas to ensure safety, quality, and performance of commercial aircraft. You will apply expertise with precision, reading manuals and collaborating with the team on high‑quality maintenance projects.

The role requires 5+ years of heavy aircraft experience, tool ownership, and the ability to work shifts, overtime, and holidays. A&P or airframe training is preferred, with strong safety and documentation skills.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 5 years of recent heavy commercial aircraft maintenance experience (not assembly).
  • Experience on B737, B737 MAX, B747, B757, B767, B777, B787, MD-11.
  • Must have own tools.
  • A&P, Airframe, or other specialized training preferred.
  • Able to work shifts, overtime, and holidays.
  • Ability to read AMM, SRM, and IPC manuals.
  • HazMat awareness and PPE knowledge.
  • Ability to measure damage using machinist tools and record dimensions.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret Boeing/Airbus drawings and docs.
  • Perform EWIS protection and repair components with special tooling.
  • Work on wing planks, skins, spars, leading edges, seat tracks, frames.
  • Drill holes, install brackets, hinges, panels.
  • Perform corrosion removal and evaluate damage.
  • Use torque wrenches and calibrated measuring tools.
  • Follow instructions and maintain safe practices.
  • Provide training to lower skill levels.
  • Complete Training Department courses.
  • Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
