Job summary

Pinnacle Solutions is seeking an Aviation Structures/Composite Technician to work at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana. You will perform maintenance on aircraft structures, using IMDS and 781 forms, and troubleshoot during daily flight operations.

The role requires 4+ years in aviation structures and composite repair, the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance, and a valid US passport. You will work on structural upgrades, inspections, repairs, and corrosion protection supporting DoD missions.

Qualifications

• 4 Years of aviation structures and composite repair/maintenance experience with some helicopter experience
• Able to pass a DOT physical
• Must maintain valid driver's license
• Must obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance – Interim Secret required to start
• Must obtain or possess a valid US Passport

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance of aircraft, forms and records using 781 series forms, and IMDS; troubleshooting and maintenance of aircraft structures, systems and components through daily flying operations
• Primary duties are use of schematics and diagrams for performing aircraft modifications upgrades and major aircraft inspection
• Assembles structural parts and components to meet requirements; assesses damage and advises on structural repair and corrosion protection
• Checks repairs for serviceability according to specifications or engineering requests
• Manufactures jigs, fixtures, forms, and molds; paints aircraft; treats corrosion using mechanical and chemical procedures
• Stores, handles, and disposes of hazardous waste and materials according to environmental standards
