Job summary

Bell Textron Inc. in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Associate Technician for the Structural Test Lab. You will assemble and run custom test machines to certify aircraft components and work closely with engineers in a fast-paced lab environment.

Responsibilities include building test rigs, performing acceptance tests, recording data, and ensuring tasks meet budget and schedule. Strong reading of drawings and good communication with teams are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree, technical training, or military training preferred.
• Own mechanics set of hand tools and ability to use effectively.
• Lift 25 lbs and stand most of the day/shift.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, reports, specifications, and engineering instructions to make, assemble, build, operate and repair test machines.
• Initiate and maintain open communication with multiple groups or teams.
• Prior mechanical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, checkout and operate test machines per procedures.
• Maintain records, documentation, and assembly/installation tasks.
• Perform acceptance tests and safety proof loading of equipment.
• Complete tasks within defined budget and schedule.
• Collaborate with test engineers and other lab technicians.
• Coordinate with other laboratories for cross-lab tests.
• Coordinate with other departments to support tasks.
