Job summary

HEICO Repair Group Aerostructures seeks an Aircraft Component Maintenance Technician with a hands-on focus on composite repairs to support FAA-compliant MRO of aircraft structural components. The role requires reading specs, performing repairs on carbon fiber, Kevlar and honeycomb structures, and adherence to safety protocols in a busy shop environment.

Team-oriented and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, you will work both independently and with others to meet customer requirements and maintain

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in aircraft component repairs.
  • Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings and specifications.
  • Must be able to perform composite repairs including carbon fiber, Kevlar and honeycomb structure repairs.
  • Must be able to operate machinery and tools in a safe and effective manner.
  • FAA license preferred and Part 145 repair station experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) on aircraft structural components such as flight control surfaces, nacelles, panels, doors, radomes and fairings.
  • Ensure work complies with FAA regulations and customer requirements.
  • Maintain safety protocols in a hands-on shop environment.
