Job summary

Johnson Service Group in Dallas, TX seeks a Structural Mech II for a Gulfstream contract. Pay is $26.94/hour. You will perform assembly, rivet structural parts, read blueprints, and ensure quality per specs in a fast-paced aerospace shop.

Join a team-focused environment with adherence to 5S and safety standards, working with experienced crews across shifts. This role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2 years related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years related structural assembly experience.
• Experience with Solumina and SmarTeam preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures and varied drilling and riveting operations.
• Rivet structural assemblies using required tools and ensure assemblies meet requirements.
• Read work orders, blueprints, lofts and operation sheets to determine sequence and hole patterns.
• Check all work for defect-free assembly prior to final inspection.
• Maintain logs and records (e.g., MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs).
• Align parts using jigs and fixtures to blueprint specs.
