Job summary

Garmin in Middlebury, CT is seeking a full-time Software Engineer Intern to learn and contribute under supervision, developing software for Garmin's aviation products in a team-oriented environment.

You will learn to develop software in Angular and JavaScript, test with debuggers and simulators, participate in software releases, and assist with maintenance of production code; strong communication and foundational knowledge in data structures are required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred as a general guideline.
• Strong communication skills and foundational programming knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Learn to develop software for Garmin aviation products under supervision.
• Learn to test software using debuggers, emulators, and simulators.
• Assist with software releases and QA activities.
• Assist with maintenance of production software and new design work.
