Job summary

Akima Logistics Services is seeking a Site Manager for the C-21 Contractor Logistics Support contract at Scott AFB in Illinois. The role requires leadership of site operations, financial controls, and direct interface with government authorities and the COR.

The candidate should have a background in aircraft maintenance programs, strong managerial skills, and the ability to coordinate resources across multiple teams to meet contract requirements. This is an on-site position at Scott AFB.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Coordinate all Contractor resources to achieve the contract objective.
• Experience managing a fluctuating workload and military maintenance plans.
• Analytical abilities to handle complex administrative, organizational, and aircraft maintenance matters.
• Strong communicational, managerial, and organizational skills.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Act as overall manager and administrator for contract effort at site.
• Develop local management procedures and controls.
• Ensure compliance with Hazardous Waste Program and safety rules.
• Interface with Program Manager and Akima divisions to resolve issues.
• Attend deployment planning meetings with the customer as necessary.
• Oversee all operational matters to meet contractual obligations.
