Job summary

This federal role aligns with the SV-D pay band (GS-5/6) and includes occasional travel for training and compliance, with varied shifts including nights and weekends. A high school diploma or equivalent is needed to qualify.

Qualifications

• One year of full-time work experience in security, aviation screening, or as an X-ray technician.
• National Service experience credits may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide security and protection of travelers across transportation sectors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Maintain standard TSA dress and appearance per the CBA and guidelines.
• Work schedules vary; full-time 40 hours, part-time 16–32 hours; shifts include nights, weekends, holidays.
• Complete classroom and on-the-job training, recurrence, and recertification tests.
