Job summary

ACTS-Aviation Security, Inc. is hiring Security Agents at the San Francisco International Airport in San Francisco, CA. The position focuses on screening, monitoring and safeguarding airport operations, with responsibilities including inspecting equipment, screening cargo, wanding passengers and guarding gates.

Candidates must pass FBI fingerprint checks and a 10-year background check, hold a valid U.S. driver's license, be at least 18, and be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass FBI fingerprint check and a 10-year background check.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
• Ability to bend, push, and lift up to 30 pounds regularly.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Inspects airline equipment and checks for unauthorized items.
• Screens cargo per customer specifications.
• Performs aircraft monitoring, passenger wanding and gate guarding.
• Observes unit activity and surroundings when not performing inspection tasks.
• Reports to Operations Supervisor or Operations Manager.
• Activities overseen by Lead or Senior Lead, depending on unit size.
