Job summary

Garmin Ltd. in the Kansas City area seeks a dedicated Aviation Sales & Marketing Intern to support Directors, Sales Managers, and customers in marketing, selling, and supporting OEM and Aftermarket products. This internship focuses on event planning, content creation, and cross-department collaboration.

You will assist with tradeshow execution, digital content management, and development of product presentations and seminars, gaining hands-on aviation marketing experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or related field.
• Excellent academics (GPA >= 3.0) as a general rule.
• Must be detail-oriented and proactive with minimal supervision.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven proficiency with presentation software/apps for content creation.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Superior organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Must possess Private Pilot’s License and be an active pilot.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing tradeshows and events, including logistics and content creation.
• Collect and manage digital content for marketing ads, presentations, and website material.
• Support Sales Managers and Directors with marketing, advertising, and promotions.
• Collaborate with Marketing Communications to update websites and materials.
• Develop organized product presentations, seminars, and webinars.
