Qualifications

  • At least three years of experience in aircraft operations within the past eight years.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience with federal laws, regulations, and policies governing aviation.
  • Understanding of FAA Compliance Philosophy and Flight Standards Service Compliance Policy.
  • Familiarity with aviation safety inspection principles.
  • Knowledge of adult education and training techniques.

We are seeking a qualified Contract Aviation Safety Inspector Instructor to deliver training within the Safety and Compliance PAW program. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in aviation operations and federal regulations, along with the ability to engage and instruct adult learners effectively.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing instruction and facilitating training sessions on aviation safety and compliance topics for adult learners.
  • Creating and presenting clear instructional materials to convey complex information simply.
  • Applying adult education principles to foster an engaging learning environment.
  • Organizing and overseeing training activities, ensuring compliance with timelines.
  • Promoting discussions and participation to enhance learning.
  • Preparing documents, reports, and presentations using word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
  • Conducting training sessions in-person and virtually via platforms like Adobe Connect and Zoom.

Requirements:

  • At least three years of experience in aircraft operations within the past eight years.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience with federal laws, regulations, and policies governing aviation.
