A leading government agency is seeking an Aircrew Program Manager (APM) to oversee aircrew training and certification for a large Part 135 operator. The role requires extensive flying experience and the ability to manage safety standards. Applicants must possess valid pilot certificates and demonstrate specialized experience in aviation operations. This position is crucial for ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and maintaining high training standards for aircrew members.
Incumbent will serve as an Aircrew Program Manager (APM) for a large Part 135 operator. The position requires Part 135 certificate management experience in SAS, as the preferred candidate will serve on a Joint Transition Team and work directly with the POI and CMT. The APM is responsible for the adequacy of aircrew ground and flight training/testing and standards for specific aircraft.

In addition, applicants must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-I/FG-13 level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience includes: Assisting, conducting or performing various technical functions related to certification, surveillance, investigation and compliance recommendation of operational activities for FAR Part 135 air carriers/air operators.

To assist in determining qualification requirements, applicants transferring between specialties at the same grade level are strongly encouraged to complete the appropriate Qualifications Assessment Tool (QAT) check sheet and upload it along with their resume. The recency of specialized experience is waived for current FAA employees in the 1825 series.
