Job summary

Responsibilities

• Oversees training of aircrews and validates compliance with 14 CFR and FAA standards; coordinates with APDs and examiners.
• Provides technical guidance to the principal inspector and coordinates with geographic inspectors.
• Conducts enforcement investigations and prepares final reports; may suspend airmen certificates as needed.
• Assists in designation of APDs and pilot examiners; conducts tests and proficiency assessments.
• Monitors training program records and approves training methods and simulators.
