The Federal Aviation Administration is seeking an Assistant Principal Inspector (Operations Rotorcraft/Helicopter) responsible for overseeing aviation operations. The Assistant Principal Inspector (Operations Rotorcraft/Helicopter) is responsible for overseeing general aviation operations across multiple FAA parts, including 91, 133, 135, 136, 137, 141, and 183.

Applicants must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience comparable to FV-H/FG-12, such as activities related to certification, surveillance, investigation, and enforcement of FAR Part 135 carriers/air operators.
Quality Ranking Factor: Preferred candidates will have experience with a Commercial certificate in Rotorcraft/Helicopter category and class ratings, including an Instrument, Helicopter rating if Commercial.
