Qualifications

• Must have at least a Master’s degree in Safety Science, Aviation, Aeronautics, or a closely related discipline.
• A PhD in a related discipline and teaching experience are strongly preferred; aviation industry experience and FAA certifications are also desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop instructional content and teach one to two in-person course(s) per semester (Intro to Aerospace Safety; Human Factors in Aviation Safety; Introduction to Safety Management Systems; Safety Program Management).
• Adjunct faculty assess student performance and provide feedback within the courses offered in fall and spring semesters.
