Job summary

CTL Aerospace, a NADCAP certified composite-manufacturing company, seeks an Experienced Aerospace Repair Engineer at the Cincinnati, Ohio location. You will develop repair processes and tooling designs, report to the Engineering Manager, and contribute to a broad scope of responsibility in a team-driven environment.

The role requires 3–5 years in aerospace engineering, hands-on manufacturing experience, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of aerospace/aviation engineering experience, preferably at an MRO/Part 145 station.
• US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Self-starter and able to work independently.
• Interact well with shop floor personnel and diverse work groups.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Hands-on approach in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Create written and illustrated repair and/or manufacturing plans, bills of material and outside purchase specifications per engineering drawings/specifications.
• Develop and improve repair/manufacturing processes and tooling improvements for aircraft components.
• Communicate with customers to resolve engineering issues related to repair processes, drawings, and specifications.
• Assume Project Management responsibilities when directed.
• Participate in quality/engineering review of discrepant parts including Cause and Corrective Action.
• Coordinate new and current business requirements with Production, Contracts and Quality.
• Support Production in delivery of products to customers on schedule.
