Job Description

CTL Aerospace is a NADCAP certified composite-manufacturing company serving major aerospace and government organizations since 1946. We specialize in manufacturing Fiber Reinforced Polymer Structures.

We are seeking talented professionals for a fast-paced, team-oriented environment as an Aviation Repair QC Inspector at our northern Cincinnati, Ohio location (less than 30 minutes from Dayton and northern Kentucky).

Responsibilities

• Inspect aircraft turbine engine components and composite components for repair or manufacture.
• Perform visual inspections, including preliminary, hidden damage, in-process, and final inspections, using current technical data, FAA standards, and industry practices.
• Evaluate hardware throughout the repair process and inspect hardware from outside processes.
• Use precision measuring hand tools to identify component defects.

Requirements

• Experience in aerospace or aviation repair or manufacturing.
• Proficient with measurement tools and visual inspection techniques.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations, codes, standards, and contractual documents.
• Ability to organize inspection findings and results.
• Familiarity with composite/honeycomb materials and inspection in fields using calibrated equipment.
• Airframe and Powerplant license preferred but not required.
• Experience with turbine engine manufacture/repair/inspection is preferred.
• Must pass a DOT/FAA pre-employment drug test, including testing for prohibited drugs.
