Zusammenfassung

Absolute Aviation is seeking an experienced engineer to independently create component repair documentation suitable for FAA and airline approvals. You will provide technical guidance, develop manufacturing data, and support repair station technicians while leading projects from concept through completion.

The role requires applying engineering principles in aviation repair/manufacturing, reviewing documentation, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical and/or electrical engineering with 5+ years aerospace engineering experience.
• Experience creating repair documentation for FAA approvals and PMA processes is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SolidWorks and Altium for design and documentation.

Aufgaben

• Reverse engineer and troubleshoot complex aircraft components, electrical and mechanical.
• Create and approve PMA and repair documentation for FAA/certification.
• Lead engineering projects from concept to completion and mentor junior engineers.
