Job summary

Sheltair Aviation in Sarasota, FL is seeking a hands-on Line Service Technician to greet, marshal and service aircraft on the ramp. You will fuel Jet-A and 100LL, provide lavatory/water service, shuttle passengers/crew and assist with baggage handling.

Physical, safety-conscious work is required, with duties including fueling, cleaning, and compliance with FAA/DOT guidelines. A high school diploma or GED is required, and safety training must be completed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• NATA safety 1st initial training and refresher every 2 years.
• Valid state driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Complete training program and pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Greet, park, tow, move and marshal aircraft arriving or departing, ramp area.
• Provide lavatory and water service as required.
• Provide shuttle service for passengers/crew as required.
• Fuel aircraft Jet-A and 100LL as required.
• Assist with customer service duties as required.
• Provide oil for aircrafts as required.
• Assist with general cleaning and debris clearance from ramp and customer area.
• Assist passengers and/or crew with baggage/cargo as needed.
• Assist with wing walking duties as required.
• Sump fuel tanks and trucks daily and record findings.
• Comply with all company and airport regulations.
• Perform other duties as needed.
