Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Colorado is seeking a Duty Manager to oversee ramp supervisors, GSE maintenance and aircraft maintenance personnel, taking accountability for safety, resource management, operation standards, policy implementation, client relations and financial performance.

The role requires bachelor’s level education or equivalent ramp experience, leadership in aviation settings, strong English communication, ability to manage time and respond to unexpected events, and willingness to work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior Ramp experience required.
• Prior management/supervisory experience in Aviation preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess and maintain a valid US driver's license with clean driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and testing.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Overall accountability to GM for Health & Safety, operational and financial performance.
• Plan resource allocation in each business unit.
• Liaise with customer representatives.
• Produce routine reports.
• Lead the station equipment planning cycle.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Suggest improvements to working practices, especially safety and security.
• Support other stations as required and cover own station duties during leave.
