Job summary

Menzies Aviation is seeking a Ramp Agent to load and unload luggage and cargo on and off commercial aircraft at our Texas locations. You will operate small vehicles and equipment, read loading manifests, and ensure safety and security standards are followed in all weather conditions.

The role requires physical stamina to lift up to 70 lbs, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work flexible shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must pass all pre-employment testing, including a drug test.
• Capable of safely lifting up to 70 lbs. continuously
• Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Outdoor work in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all Airports and Custom badges/seals.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load luggage, freight and cargo on and off commercial aircraft.
• Operate motorized equipment and small specialized commercial vehicles.
• Read and interpret loading instructions and baggage routing tags.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment in line with safety policies.
• Provide ramp guard services to ensure only authorized personnel service aircraft.
• Adhere to uniform guidelines and code of conduct.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
