Job summary

Menzies Aviation is hiring a full-time Ramp Agent to help keep flights on time by handling baggage and cargo, recording shipments, and guiding aircraft to gates. You’ll lift up to 70 lbs, operate equipment, and follow loading manifests and safety procedures.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with a high school diploma or GED, English proficiency, and willing to work varied shifts outdoors. A valid license and pre-employment drug test are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug testing.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs continuously.
• Must read, write and communicate in English proficiently.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Must be able to work variable shifts including overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Work is outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must obtain and maintain required airport and badge seals.

Responsibilities

• Lift/move 70 lbs of cargo and baggage on and off aircraft and between areas.
• Move cargo between aircraft, terminals, and air cargo facilities.
• Operate motorized equipment as required.
• Read weight/balance loading instructions and relevant labels.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
