Job summary

This role is based at Terminal 8 with a pay rate of $21.00 and a schedule that includes weekends and holidays, offering hands-on training and cross-training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• A valid state driver’s license and ability to obtain FAA/Airport authorizations.
• Pass SIDA airport clearance and all required training tests.
• Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn new systems and equipment.
• Reliability, teamwork, and a desire to take on new challenges while building your future in aviation.

Responsibilities

• Guide inbound and outbound airplanes to and from gates.
• Lift, load, unload, and transport passenger bags and cargo to and from aircraft.
• Drive and/or operate ground support equipment such as tow tractors, belt loaders, and baggage tugs.
• Maintain safety and security on the ramp by following safety procedures.
• Communicate efficiently with ground personnel and flight crews.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to gain cross-functional exposure.
• Follow all regulations and procedures to build regulatory knowledge.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including cross-training in related functions.
• Engage in physical activity and lift up to 70 pounds regularly.
