Job summary

HHS Aviation is seeking a Ramp Agent at BDL Airport to support ramp operations, baggage handling, and cabin services. This role requires clear English communication, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols. Full-time and part-time shifts are available, with pay at 18.25 USD per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and work well in a team.
• Maintain good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and wear a uniform.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and MVR (varies by airport).
• Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends or irregular shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ground handling services including ramp operations, baggage handling, cabin cleaning, and GSE maintenance.
• Unload/load passenger baggage, cargo, and mail from aircraft to carts and vice versa.
• Prepare aircraft cabins between flights by replenishing supplies and servicing lavatories and galleys.
• Tow aircraft to ramp areas, ensure equipment availability, and guide aircraft to gate positions.
• Perform ad hoc duties such as GSE inspections, FOD walks, and equipment cleaning when needed.
