Job summary

VSE is seeking a Quality Inspector I in Florida to oversee the inspection system and ensure compliance with FAR, manufacturer recommendations, and customer requirements. The role involves assisting with inspections, records verification, calibration, and tool maintenance to guarantee airworthiness before release to service.

The ideal candidate has an A&P license or is eligible for Repairman, strong communication skills, and experience with measuring tools and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 2–3+ years of relevant/technical work experience or 2 years in lieu of a degree.
• A&P license or ability to qualify for Repairman license (FAA).
• Ability to effectively communicate with Technicians and Management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing inspection procedures and ensure FAR compliance.
• Ensure inspections and records are properly completed prior to release to service.
• Calibrate and verify precision test equipment and inspection tools.
• Conduct periodic facility audits to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Support planning and laying out inspection standards and procedures per FAR and manufacturer recommendations.
