Job summary

GA Telesis Fort Lauderdale facility seeks a 2nd Shift Quality Control Inspector to perform incoming and outgoing inspections of aircraft parts and materials, ensuring compliance with company procedures and required production standards. Reporting to the Director of Quality and Engineering, the ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of multitasking to meet quality expectations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Airframe and Powerplant License required.
• 1-2 yrs. Quality Control Inspector experience preferred.
• Familiar with ATA106 and ATA300 Specifications.
• Familiar with ISO9001, AS9120 and ASA-100 standards.
• Familiar with procedures for ATA106 certificate and maintenance release documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a complete vision inspection of all incoming parts and materials, including items being shipped.
• Ensure products meet company standards before they are sent out or placed on inventory shelves.
• Review material specifications to compare to inventory parts and ensure compliance.
• Inspect in-process production by confirming specifications and communicating adjustments to production.
• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs for quality assurance.
