Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Chicago O'Hare is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our on‑site team. You will test products, perform inspections, and help maintain safe, compliant fueling operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (or 12 months related experience), a valid US driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Pre‑employment testing and background check are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED; or twelve (12) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid US driver’s license.
• Must pass all pre‑employment testing including a physical, color vision test, audio test, and drug test.
• Handle fueling carts and fueling hoses which will require lifting and move up to 70lbs.
• Must pass background check and obtain US Customs seal.

Responsibilities

• Hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical reports and preventative maintenance of equipment at fuel storage facilities/systems.
• Performs routine and periodic inspections in compliance with company, customer, government, and industry standards.
• Monitors storage tanks and related equipment to ensure that they are in good working order to prevent spills, releases, overfills and product contamination.
• Performs routine and periodic inspections in compliance with company, customer, government and industry standards.
• Makes required log entries QC, maintenance and completes required documentation and performs data entry.
• Other duties as assigned.
