Job summary

Mead & Hunt, Inc. is seeking an Experienced Project Manager to join our Aviation team in Seattle. You will manage aviation projects, lead civil engineering tasks, prepare reports and specifications, and coordinate with FAA and state agencies.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with at least 18 years of relevant experience and a PE license. Travel ~20% within the FAA Northwest Mountain Region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required; 18+ years of relevant experience.
• PE license is required.

Responsibilities

• Serving as the project manager for aviation projects.
• Leading and performing aviation civil engineering tasks.
• Preparing reports, budgets, cost estimates, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, and permits.
• Leading proactive client interactions and communications with regards to FAA programming, and state and government agencies.
• Performing QA/QC tasks.
• Supporting onsite during construction as the Engineer of Record, providing construction management/construction administration management to resident engineering teams.
• Travel within the FAA Northwest Mountain Region is required (approximately 20% of time)
