W.E. O'Neil Construction in Pleasanton, CA, is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Aviation to lead airport terminal and related buildings from preconstruction through closeout.

You will guide project teams, manage client relationships, and ensure safety, schedule, and budget targets on active airport sites. You will work with field leadership, consultants, and trade partners, implement VDC/BIM, oversee contracts and cost control, mentor junior staff, and build long-term airport program value.

Formación

• 12+ years of progressively responsible construction experience, including terminal or ancillary building work at a commercial airport.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience managing large or complex construction projects in active, occupied, or security-controlled environments.

Responsabilidades

• Lead safety, quality, scheduling, and risk management for aviation projects.
• Oversee forecasting, budgeting, billing, cash flow, and financial performance.
• Administer contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and project agreements; manage change.
• Evaluate cost impacts, forecast variances, and contractual risks; implement corrective actions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Engineers.
• Build relationships with airport authorities, consultants, subcontractors, and industry partners.
• Lead project delivery from preconstruction to closeout with airport phasing constraints.
• Champion integration of VDC/BIM to support constructability and risk mitigation.
• Oversee turnover, commissioning, and closeout activities.
