Job summary

The role requires 10+ years in wide-body aircraft maintenance, FAA A&P license, and proven project management experience, with English fluency and the right to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P license required.
• 10+ years of experience in wide-body aircraft heavy maintenance.
• Proven experience managing a maintenance programme.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage maintenance programs at vendor locations.
• Ensure compliance with FARs, contract requirements, and specifications.
• Organise inspections and evaluations of used aircraft.
• Participate in negotiations with manufacturers, maintenance vendors and modification vendors.
• Manage on-site administration of aircraft maintenance contracts to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate engineers, QA specialists, planners and materials administrators on maintenance tasks.
• Audit project invoices, statements and payment applications and approve them for payment.
• Make timely decisions to correct discrepancies found during maintenance and acceptance flights.
• Direct technical acceptance of aircraft and review airworthiness directives.
• Ensure airworthiness of re-delivered aircraft after work is completed.
• Brief senior management on alteration requirements and policies.
