You will design, draft, and collaborate with staff on a range of aviation projects, from planning through construction, contributing to turnkey solutions and client coordination. The position involves cost estimating, assistance with funding applications, environmental studies, and detailed design calculations alongside experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT or progressing towards licensure.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Basic knowledge of airport operations.
• Initiative and ability to exercise independent judgement.
• Experience with AutoCAD & Microsoft Office.
• Soft Skills: Creativity, Problem Solving, Time Management & Planning, Critical Thinking.
• Pass a drug screen, background check, and driving record check per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Cost estimating and preliminary design.
• Assisting with funding applications and environmental studies.
• Perform detailed reviews, studies, analyses, etc., and prepare detailed report on results and findings.
• Develop construction plans and specifications.
• Perform detailed design calculations.
• Consult with clients to obtain and relay information relating to projects.
• Assist in the management of projects throughout construction.
