Job summary

Egis is seeking a Civil Engineer to design airport infrastructure and related civil projects. You will prepare design reports, construction plans, and contract docs while coordinating multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a 4+ year civil engineering background, FAA criteria familiarity, and strong skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office. This hybrid role offers opportunities across the US with a major engineering firm.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in the civil engineering field; aviation related experience and FAA criteria a plus.
• Coordinate multiple project tasks.
• Self-motivated and able to handle a fast-paced position.
• Goal and deadline orientated.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Design of airport engineering projects including runways, taxiways, aprons, airfield lighting, navigational aids, etc.
• Preparation of engineering design reports, construction plans, and contract documents / technical specifications.
• Experience in design of general civil engineering projects including site design, sanitary wastewater, water and hydraulic evaluation a plus.
