Aviation Project Engineer

We seek an Aviation Project Engineer to work on complex airport projects with local agencies and private clients. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience and hold a PE license.

Location

This role offers a hybrid schedule, with work possible from any of our 45 locations, including Atlanta, Denver, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, and Tennessee. Remote work is also considered.

The Impact You Will Have

• Design elements such as pavement, drainage, utilities, lighting/NAVAIDS, security, and fuel facilities
• Manage project design files and quality control reviews
• Coordinate plans, specifications, and estimates
• Review drafting and plan sets
• Develop and oversee work plans for team members
• Engage in team communication and organize technical meetings
• Perform occasional field observations, sometimes out of town
• Participate in professional organizations

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Experience with FAA standards
• P.E. license or near-term plan to obtain one
• Advanced CADD skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to perform complex analysis and assemble complete design packages
• Effective team collaboration
