Job summary
TKDA in Minnesota seeks an Aviation Project Delivery Group Manager to lead engineers and technicians delivering design and construction for general aviation and commercial airports. You will own strategic objectives, oversee budgets, and coordinate with the VP of Aviation and other group managers.
You will drive business development, manage client relations, and represent the firm at interviews and conferences, while mentoring staff toward greater autonomy and growth within the aviation group.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering and Minnesota PE license.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in aviation/airport design and construction.
- Proven track record leading multi-discipline airport projects with profitability.
- Experience in business development and cultivating client relationships.
- Experience coaching engineering professionals and leading teams.
- Knowledge of FAA airport planning, design and construction regulations.
- Willingness to travel locally and overnight up to 10%.
