Job summary

STV is seeking an experienced Project Controls Specialist - Aviation to join the PM/CM team on a full-time on-site basis in Los Angeles, CA. The role focuses on cost management, budgeting, and reporting for a major aviation client.

Ideal candidates will have 5-8 years in project controls on construction programs, strong communication, and proficiency with Excel, Proliance, and data-warehouse systems. Travel to offsite locations may be required.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of professional experience in program and/or project controls on a construction program.
• Experience across the full project life cycle and cost/schedule management disciplines.
• Strong ability to present data to management and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project budget and forecast integrity per approved SOP.
• Perform cost variance analysis and identify budget trends.
• Review monthly cost reports and progress reports for accuracy.
• Evaluate contract changes for budget and schedule impact.
• Ensure proper cost coding on invoices and change orders.
