Job summary

STV, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Controls Specialist - Aviation to join our PM/CM team in Los Angeles, CA. The role is on-site and full-time.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and exceptional communication abilities, enabling collaboration with team members at all levels. Responsibilities include budget stewardship, variance analysis, and coordination of cost controls across multiple funding sources.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of professional experience in program and/or project controls on a construction program.
• BS/BA degree in engineering, construction management, business, or related field.
• Experience across full project life cycle and cost/schedule management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project budget and forecast integrity per SOP.
• Perform cost variance analysis and identify budget trends.
• Review monthly cost and progress reports for accuracy.
• Evaluate change orders for budget impact.
• Communicate issues with discipline leads to resolve budget conflicts.
• Ensure adherence to client cost-management policies.
• Travel to offsite locations as required.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
