Job summary

GMRE seeks an Aviation Programs Manager to execute and oversee government aviation operations contracts supporting FCF, acceptance, and ferry flights. You will liaison with government customers, aircrews, and maintenance teams to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient flight operations.

Ideal candidates have substantial military aviation operations experience, especially with H-60G/W or KC-130 aircraft. You will lead geographically distributed aircrews, ensure contract compliance, and drive

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of military flight operations.
• Knowledge of Functional Check Flight operations.
• Experience operating within military aviation maintenance organizations.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to travel frequently.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct oversight of Functional Check Flight operations supporting Government aircraft maintenance and depot activities.
• Coordinate daily flight operations between Government maintenance personnel, aircrew, airfield management, quality assurance, and program leadership.
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with the PWS, contract requirements, and company policies.
• Supervise site leads and flight crews; conduct performance reviews; assist with recruiting and onboarding; promote safety culture.
• Maintain situational awareness of daily flight operations; coordinate aircraft movement and ferry planning; support mishap response and safety investigations.
