Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a world leader in aerospace and defense, seeks an experienced operations leader for its Fixed Price Agreement team at the United Airlines SFO facility. This onsite role directs daily operations, supervises a small team, and ensures the contract is executed with a high-quality customer experience.

You will lead negotiations, manage inventory and financial tracking, and drive process improvements using PW standards to deliver on-time, on-budget performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of experience or advanced degree with 10 years.
• Direct customer interaction supporting contract management and negotiation.
• Ability to work independently in a highly autonomous environment and communicate with a dispersed management team.
• Operations or material management experience in aerospace/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operation of Pratt & Whitney's Fixed Price Agreement (FPA) team and onsite at United Airlines’ SFO facility.
• Direct supervisory leadership of 3-4 employees.
• Lead customer business review meetings and prepare executive communications.
• Ensure FPA contract is effectively administered with a high-quality customer experience.
• Lead annual physical inventory counting at onsite warehouse.
• Meet commitments to deliver services on time and keep the contract on budget.
• Financial tracking of contract performance, monthly invoicing, reporting and forecasts.
• Lead customer negotiations to resolve conflicts for PW and customer benefit.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and develop standard work and tools.
• Assist and supplement work by team (Material Management, Technical and Warehouse).
