Job summary

Avmax is expanding its team in Great Falls, MT. The Aviation Procurement Coordinator will report to the Director of Maintenance and manage procurement activities for aviation equipment and parts.

You will coordinate with purchasing, quote quotes, track shipments, and ensure accurate documentation and cost data. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing or aviation procurement, a high school education or equivalent, and a strong focus on accuracy, communication, and team

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Quote part sales within 24 hours; preferably same day.
• Work in conjunction with 'purchasing business unit' to apply freight charges on shipments.
• Check shipments of all package crates and skids to ensure customer receives precisely what they require.
• Process quotes on excess inventory.
• Make customer contacts in person, by fax, phone or service call to move excess inventory.
• Code equipment parts and unit movements on weigh bills accurately.
• Keep accurate, up-to-date records on all freight movements for re-importing of equipment if necessary.
• Procure import documentation when necessary, for equipment.
• Provide data on product costs, vendor performance and demographics.
• Makes recommendations to manager regarding improvements in efficiencies.
• Perform duties as requested by manager.
