Job summary

ENCS is seeking a Senior Portfolio Manager to ensure the successful delivery of technology initiatives that create business value, driving revenue growth, cost optimization, and improved customer experience. KPIs include on-time delivery, budget adherence, and quality of outcomes.

Ideal candidates possess aviation experience and strong leadership of cross-functional teams, with expertise in agile and modern waterfall methods. UAE-based visa and arrangements are supported.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of Program/Portfolio Management experience in complex project delivery.
• Mandatory 3+ years of experience in the airline or related industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent; a Master’s degree is highly advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of project, program, and portfolio management practices, encompassing both agile and waterfall methodologies, with a solid understanding of product management principles.
• Beneficial 3+ years of experience in Agile at scale, involving portfolio, value stream, or program levels. Experience in executing PI planning events and coordinating Agile Release Trains (ART) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy & planning for value streams, aligning with business stakeholders.
• Facilitate funds allocation to value stream initiatives based on priority.
• Own benefits realization and optimize value flow across initiatives.
• Define Lean and traditional business cases for agile and waterfall projects.
• Own dependencies and chair value-stream level synchronization meetings.
• Define careers paths and learning plans for team members; develop high-performing cross-functional teams.
• Manage resourcing, sizing, and recruitment for projects and scrum teams.
• Identify cross-value stream risks and dependencies and drive swift resolution.
• Engage with senior business stakeholders to address impediments and drive continuous improvement.
• Decide on delivery model (agile or waterfall) for each initiative; establish ARTs with E2E support.
