Applied-Research-Associates, Inc (ARA) seeks principal aviation planners to advance airport master plans and aviation capacity planning across the United States. The role focuses on integrating new aviation technologies within FAA guidance and master planning.

Applicants should bring extensive experience in aviation planning, project leadership, and regulatory knowledge, with willingness to travel and work in a hybrid office setup in the Dallas–Fort Worth area and other locations.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Planning, or Civil Engineering; master’s degree preferred.
• 12+ years of airport master planning or aviation capacity planning experience.
• Strong understanding of FAA/ICAO standards and airport operations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop comprehensive airport master plans (airside, landside, terminal, cargo, support facilities).
• Prepare and update Airport Layout Plans (ALPs) and ensure FAA/ICAO compliance.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to develop integrated planning solutions.
• Analyze airspace constraints and runway configurations to recommend improvements.
• Support capital improvement planning with phasing strategies and cost estimates.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement with airport leadership, airlines, and agencies.
