Job summary

StandardAero, Inc. is seeking an Inspector to perform comprehensive inspections of parts and components, review repair instructions, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will work with various inspection data and maintain precise records to support return-to-service decisions.

The role requires attention to detail, experience in aviation QC, and proficiency with measurement tools, blueprints, and data documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• 1+ years of experience in the aviation field.
• 1+ years year of experience with various types of inspection equipment and visual inspection aids.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection functions on parts/components as directed and in accordance with training provided.
• Review customer repair instructions for Repair/Overhaul and identify special instructions.
• Perform preliminary, hidden-damage and in-process inspections per manufacturer and industry data.
• Ensure familiarity with inspection methods, tools, and equipment in your area.
• Maintain proficiency and calibration of inspection aids and tools.
• Follow specifications for inspection tolerances and procedures.
• Record all inspections and secure final approval for return to service.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis and suggest preventive actions.
• Other duties as assigned.
