Job summary

Southwest Airlines Co. is seeking a Senior Network Strategy Consultant to shape the long-term flight network through strategic analysis, market evaluation, and investment recommendations.

You will lead complex initiatives for domestic and international opportunities, influence aircraft allocation, and support long-range airport and operational planning. You will represent Southwest with airport and industry stakeholders, presenting recommendations to Senior Leaders and Executives.

Qualifications

• Expert level experience in analyzing airline performance in strategic planning environments.
• Experience with network design strategies and translating goals into long-term network plans.
• Knowledge of commercial and operational performance metrics in aviation.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert to create network strategies for 1.5-15 years in the future.
• Lead domestic and international city evaluations and network plans.
• Maintain the Network Portfolio and recommend changes to Senior Leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on three-year and long-term Network Plans.
• Lead forecasting for new cities and major network changes.
• Manage external relationships with airport and tourism authorities.
