i3 is seeking a Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Technician in Huntsville, AL for part-time/TOC work. The role focuses on MT and PT inspections on aviation parts, with 20% travel to CONUS/OCONUS sites. You will participate in audits as part of a larger U.S. Government team and report results with precision.

Qualified candidates typically have 3–5 years of NDT experience, Level II MT/PT/ET/UT certifications, and U.S. citizenship. DoD security clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant NDT experience.
• Level II NDT certification MT/PT/ET/UT or military equivalent.
• DoD security clearance eligibility and U.S. citizenship.
• Ability to travel up to 20% CONUS/OCONUS.

Responsibilities

• Detect flaws such as cracks, delamination, voids, processing defects, and heat damage using Fluorescent Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Eddy Current, Ultrasonic, Radiographic (CR), and Optical test equipment.
• Conduct inspections of aviation-related parts primarily using MT and PT techniques.
• Serve as NDT representative during audits within a U.S. Government team.
