Kalitta Turbines, a FAA-certified repair operation, seeks an Engine Shop NDT Technician to perform non-destructive testing on turbine engine components. You will apply magnetic particle and fluorescent penetrant methods per OEM procedures, document results, and ensure each part meets stringent quality standards before service.

The role emphasizes safety, precision equipment maintenance, and communication of test outcomes to supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and mechanical certification.
• FAA Powerplant (P) certificate.
• Ability to read and interpret OEM manuals and use precision measuring tools.
• Ability to complete accurate, clear, and legible inspection documentation.

Responsabilités

• Perform non-destructive testing on turbine engine components.
• Maintain a safe, secure wet brake work area and follow safety policies.
• Test and document results; ensure parts meet quality standards before return to service.
• Inspect repaired vendor and used parts from external sources.
• Perform FPI and MPI per OEM procedures and standardize equipment.
