Job summary

Cortina Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Aviation Military Analyst to provide expertise in Army attack and reconnaissance aviation operations, modernization, and capability development. The role supports studies, assessments, technology evaluations, and requirements development across joint Army structures.

The ideal candidate has a senior Army Aviator background (12+ years), holds a Senior/Master Aviator Badge, and can produce graduate-level analytical documents such as white papers

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of Army Aviation flight and combat operations experience.
• Senior or Master Army Aviator Badge required.
• Experience in flight standardization for Army attack/recon aviation (35–600 personnel).
• Minimum 3 years supporting capability management or development initiatives.
• Experience planning, facilitating and executing Joint Working Groups.
• Experience leading Future Aviation studies and/or operational test events with capability development/tech evaluations.
• Ability to develop graduate-level analytical products (white papers, concept papers, requirements documents, operational views).
• Strong analytical skills to assess capabilities, gaps and modernization needs.
• Experience as SIP/IP/ME/MTP in Army attack/recon aircraft.
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in Army attack/recon aviation operations and modernization efforts.
• Support operational studies, capability assessments, technology evaluations, and requirements development.
• Lead working groups and study teams; deliver high-quality analytical products.
• Collaborate with Joint and Army stakeholders to inform decision making.
