Job summary

Tomorrow.io is building a pipeline of experienced Aviation Meteorologists for several upcoming positions. Roles will be onsite with locations in the Caribbean and the U.S./Northeast region.

We seek team players with integrity and a proven track record supporting aviation operations in fast-paced environments. Applicants should have 2+ years in aviation meteorology, be able to work weekends/holidays, create TAFs, and forecast convective, turbulence and icing conditions for aviation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of operational experience as an aviation meteorologist.
• Able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends & holidays.
• Experience creating TAFs for aviation operations.
• Experience forecasting convective activity, turbulence and icing for aviation across large areas.
• Participation in aviation meteorology conference calls.
• Ability to present verbal and written briefs on aviation meteorology.
• Strong understanding of how weather impacts runway configurations and airline operations.
• Familiarity with airspace classifications and air traffic management programs.
